The Parizaad is a long Kundan rani haar — five strands of pearl beads studded with turquoise, pink and green, falling to a broad gold Kundan pendant set with turquoise, with a matching pair of long chandelier earrings.
What makes this one different
Two things. First, the shape: almost every grand Indian jewellery set sits at the throat, which means the blouse has to make room for it. The Parizaad does the opposite — it is a rani haar, a long necklace that rests well below the collarbone, so it works with exactly the necklines a choker cannot. Second, the stone: this set uses real turquoise, a semi-precious stone, rather than a coloured glass or resin imitation. That is unusual at this price and it is why the blue has the depth and the faint natural veining you can see in the close-up photographs.
The set
One long necklace and one pair of matching earrings. Five strands of small white pearl beads run from each shoulder, studded at intervals with turquoise, pink, green and navy beads so the strands carry colour along their whole length rather than only at the centre. They gather into gold caps and drop to a broad Kundan pendant: a fanned upper section set in white Kundan around a turquoise teardrop, a row of small pearl drops beneath it, then a round Kundan motif, and a final fringe of turquoise oval drops and pearls. The earrings repeat the pendant at chandelier length — a Kundan top, a turquoise teardrop centre, and three turquoise drops in a pearl fringe. The necklace fastens with an adjustable dori.

Materials, stated plainly
Brass base with a gold polish, set with Kundan stones, turquoise and pearls. The turquoise is a genuine semi-precious stone — we do not hold gemstone certification for it, so we say it is turquoise rather than calling it certified. The white stones are Kundan, not diamonds, and the gold tone is a polish with no karat value. That combination is the whole idea behind the piece: a real semi-precious stone and real pearls, set in fashion jewellery, at a price that means you can wear it to a function rather than keep it in a locker.
Where and how to wear it
Well-suited to a wedding as a guest, a sangeet, a reception, an engagement, a mehendi or haldi, and to festive days such as Diwali, Navratri and Karva Chauth. A long haar also carries beautifully to a puja or a temple visit, and it is the easier choice for a long function day because nothing sits tight at the throat.
On necklines, this is the forgiving one. A rani haar works over a high neck, a closed collar, a boat neck, a round neck or a full-sleeve blouse — the shapes that defeat a choker. It also looks lovely over a deep V or a sweetheart, where the pendant sits in the open space. The one thing to avoid is a blouse with heavy embroidery right down the centre front, where the pendant and the work will compete.
The turquoise is what makes this set worth seeking out. It is an unusual colour in Indian wedding jewellery, and it does something the usual reds and greens cannot: it lifts ivory, cream, white and champagne, it sings against mustard, coral, rust and peach, and it is a natural match for teal, peacock, bottle green and navy. On a deep maroon or wine outfit it reads as a deliberate, modern contrast rather than a safe match.
Because the necklace is long and the earrings are long, this set does not need anything else. Skip the maangtikka, keep bangles simple, and wear your hair up or to one side.
Care
Last on, first off. Turquoise is a softer, porous stone, so it particularly dislikes perfume, hairspray, sanitiser and water — keep all of them away from it. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear and store flat in its own zip-lock pouch with the air pressed out. Lay a long strand necklace down flat rather than hanging it, so the strands are not left under tension, and lift it by the gold caps rather than by the beads.

Frequently asked questions
Is the blue stone real turquoise?
Yes. The blue stones are turquoise, a semi-precious stone, rather than coloured glass or resin. We do not hold gemstone certification for them, so we describe them as turquoise rather than as certified turquoise.
Is this real gold, and are the white stones diamonds?
No to both. The base is brass with a gold polish and carries no karat value, and the white stones are Kundan rather than diamonds. The white beads on the strands are pearls.
What are the white beads on the strands?
Pearls. Five strands of them run the full length of the necklace, studded with turquoise, pink, green and navy beads.
What comes with this set?
One long necklace and one pair of matching chandelier earrings.
Does it include a maangtikka?
No. This set is a necklace and earrings only. Some Peacoski sets include a maangtikka and most do not — the inclusions are always listed on each product.
How long is it, and where does it sit?
It is a rani haar — a long necklace that sits well below the collarbone, with the pendant resting on the chest rather than at the throat. The exact length is listed in the Dimensions above.
Will this work with a high-necked blouse?
Yes, and that is the main reason to choose it. A long haar sits below the neckline instead of fighting it, so it works over a high neck, a closed collar, a boat neck or a full-sleeve blouse — all the shapes where a choker will not sit correctly.
Is the necklace adjustable?
Yes. It fastens with a dori at the back, so you can set the length.
How do the earrings fasten?
With push-backs.
How do I look after turquoise?
Turquoise is softer and more porous than a hard stone, so it absorbs what it touches. Keep perfume, hairspray, sanitiser, oils and water away from it, put the set on last and take it off first, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth rather than any liquid cleaner. Stored dry and separately, it holds its colour.
What colour outfit does turquoise go with?
It lifts ivory, cream, white and champagne, and works beautifully with mustard, coral, rust and peach. It is a natural match for teal, peacock, bottle green and navy, and reads as a modern contrast on maroon or wine. Send us an outfit photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
Can I wear this as a wedding guest rather than a bride?
Yes — that is exactly who it suits. A long haar in this scale dresses you fully without reading as bridal, so it works for the sister, the bhabhi or a close friend at a sangeet, a reception or a family function.
Will it tarnish?
Fashion jewellery finish depends on how it is worn and stored. We do not make an anti-tarnish claim on this set. With careful storage — wiped dry, kept in a sealed pouch, away from perfume and water — the finish stays richer for longer.
Is it a good gift?
Yes. It arrives in premium gift-ready packaging, and because the necklace adjusts on a dori and there is no sized piece in the set, you do not need to know her measurements. A long haar is also a safer gift than a choker, since it suits more necklines and more body frames.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. Peacoski offers a live video-call product showcase. We will show you the set on camera, explain the detail and compare it against other pieces, so you are not deciding from photographs alone.
