The Waheeda is a heritage collar necklace set with a matching pair of jhumkas. The collar is built from hinged gold panels that alternate between mint green stones with a kundan flower and gold panels set with kundan around a small red stone. At the centre, a mint green teardrop sits above a half-moon pendant edged in pearls, finished with a fringe of gold beads, pearls and tiny green beads.
What makes this one different
Most heritage sets lean on deep reds and emeralds. The Waheeda is soft mint green, which makes it one of the few heritage collars that looks as right at a daytime function as it does at night. Its hinged panels let the collar follow the curve of the neck instead of sitting stiff, and the red stones add just enough warmth to tie it to a traditional outfit.
The set
A gold-polish hinged collar with a teardrop centre and a pearl-edged half-moon pendant, tied with a dori at the back. The jhumkas match it: a pearl-edged mint green teardrop top with a kundan flower, and a gold bell finished with pearls and green beads. They fasten with push-backs.

Materials, stated plainly
Premium fashion jewellery in brass with a gold polish. The mint green and red stones are coloured stones, not emeralds or rubies, and the kundan is fashion kundan, not a precious stone. The pendant and jhumkas are edged with pearls. You get the look of a family heirloom without the price or the locker worry.
Where and how to wear it
Lovely for daytime and evening alike: mehendi, haldi, an engagement, the sangeet, Eid, Diwali and family weddings. Mint green looks fresh against rani pink, peach, ivory, maroon, wine and gold, and pairs beautifully with a silk saree, a lehenga, an anarkali or a sharara. Wear it with a round, boat, sweetheart or V neckline so the collar and pendant can be seen. With a high neck, let the jhumkas carry the look on their own. At 107 g for the necklace, it is a festive set rather than everyday wear.
Care
Put it on last, after perfume and makeup. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear, keep it away from water, perfume and sanitiser, and store it flat in its own zip-lock pouch with the air pressed out so the hinged panels and the fringe do not tangle. Handle the pearls gently.

Frequently asked questions
What comes in the Waheeda set?
One necklace and one pair of jhumka earrings.
What is heritage jewellery?
Jewellery inspired by traditional heirloom pieces, with rich gold work, kundan, coloured stones and pearls, made to feel like something handed down in the family.
Is the Waheeda real gold?
No. It is brass with a gold polish, sold as premium fashion jewellery.
Are the green and red stones real emeralds or rubies?
No. They are mint green and red coloured stones.
What are the measurements?
The necklace measures 22 × 2.5 cm and weighs 107 g. The earrings measure 5 × 2 cm and weigh 31 g for the pair.
How does the necklace fasten?
With a dori at the back, so you can tie it at the height you like.
What back do the earrings have?
Push-backs.
Is it a choker or a collar?
A collar. It sits around the base of the neck, with the pendant resting below the hollow of the throat.
Will it suit a daytime function?
Yes. The soft mint green looks fresh in daylight, which makes it ideal for mehendi, haldi and lunch functions.
What colour outfit goes with a mint green necklace set?
Rani pink, peach, ivory, maroon, wine and gold. With a green outfit, choose a clearly different shade.
Which neckline suits it?
Round, boat, sweetheart or V. With a high neck, wear the jhumkas alone.
Can I wear the jhumkas on their own?
Yes. They are a complete statement pair and work with a simple kurta or saree too.
Is it comfortable to wear?
The hinged panels let the collar sit with the neck rather than against it. At 107 g it is a festive piece, best for an occasion rather than all-day daily wear.
How should I store it?
Flat, in its own zip-lock pouch with the air pressed out, away from moisture and other jewellery.
- Keep in cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Store in separate zip lock bags with air squeezed out to avoid damages.
- Wipe it gently with a clean cloth after each use, to increase longevity.
- Avoid contact with perfume, moisturizer, soap or other harsh chemicals.
