The Vidyunmala is a Jadau necklace set in gold polish, with a matching pair of chandbali-style earrings. A curved collar of crescent-shaped segments, each set with ruby pink and white stones, meets at a ruby pink flower in the centre. A fringe of pearls runs the full length of the collar, and a stone-set drop with green tumble stone tassels hangs below the flower.

Vidyunmala means a garland of lightning, and the design follows the name: the crescent segments fan around the neck like rays, so the collar catches light along its whole curve rather than only at the centre.
