What makes this one different
Most statement necklaces build their drama from solid metal or stones. The Gayika builds it from lace. Rows of tiny filigree flowers are linked together by small rings, each ending in an oval filigree drop, and the rows fall in a deep V towards the centre like a waterfall. A large, many-petalled filigree flower sits right at the heart of the V. The effect is rich but delicate, which makes it the piece to choose when you want a lot of gold without a heavy, armoured look.

The set
The necklace is a mid-length bib that sits across the collarbone and falls in a V onto the chest. It fastens at the back with an adjustable chain. The earrings are long drops built from the same idea: a small flower top, a layered filigree flower, smaller flowers below and an oval filigree drop at the end, with push-back fastenings. There are no stones in this set; the whole design is in the metalwork.

The Gayika is made with a brass base metal with filigree work, finished in a bright gold polish. It is not real gold.
