The Afsana is an American Diamond pendant set with a matching pair of drop earrings. A gold-tone chain, itself set with small white stones, leads to a crescent of pear and trillion-cut American Diamonds, and at its centre sits a single emerald green pear-shaped stone framed in baguettes. One green stone, a lot of sparkle, and nothing heavy about it.
What makes this one different
Most American Diamond sets put the colour everywhere. The Afsana uses just one green stone and lets the white crescent around it do the work, so it reads modern and polished rather than bridal. It sits at the collarbone, not tight at the neck, which is why it moves easily from a cocktail gown to a light silk saree.
